MATCH PREVIEW | Rhinos Women back in Super League action this Sunday

The Betfred Women's Super League returns to action this weekend as Leeds Rhinos Women take on Warrington Wolves in round four at AMT Headingley, kick off 3pm.
After the Women's Challenge Cup Final gave both clubs a break last weekend, the Rhinos will be hopeful of picking up their first win of the league campaign after a difficult start continued last time out against Wigan.

Warrington Wolves are the only team in the top tier of the Women’s competition without a win in either the League or Cup in 2025, as Ged Ginty steps up as head coach in a bid to turn their fortunes around.
After back-to-back second-from-bottom finishes, Ginty replaces Armani Sharrock, having previously served as her assistant. The former Wigan Warriors assistant coach helped develop their squad between 2022 and 2023 before joining Warrington, where he now works alongside Head of Women’s Rugby, James Machin.
Warrington exited the Cup in the group stages with losses to Cardiff Demons and St Helens and remain winless heading into the Super League. They opened with a 40-30 defeat to Huddersfield, where Kerrie Evans and Hannah Goddard both scored twice. That was followed by a heavy loss to newly promoted Leigh Leopards, who ran in seven tries. A close contest with Barrow before the Cup break ended in a 14–6 defeat at Victoria Park.
The Wolves now seek a first-ever win over Leeds Rhinos, having lost all five league meetings since 2021.
Warrington’s youthful squad features only a few returnees from last season, including club stalwarts Charlie Magraw and Dani Bound. Ginty’s Wigan connections have helped bring in reinforcements, including Evans—now the team’s second-highest try scorer - and Goddard, who joined from Huddersfield.
Sunday’s clash with Leeds marks the start of a tough run, with St Helens and York to follow later this month before Barrow visit at the start of July.
